Abstract: Deployment of Electrical Vehicles (EVs) needs to consider many different issues. One of the most important topics about them is the capacity of which as energy storagedevice. In this paper, the role of EVs has been studied as a useful element in microgrid as an energy storage device to reduce theon-peak load in microgrid and to reduce the total cost of microgrid. For this goal, the problem has been considered as an objective function that was optimized with the Big Bang-Big Crunch optimization algorithm with MATLAB software for the first time and its results have been compared with the PSO algorithm. Also, the role of EVs penetration in microgrid stability Has been studied and the ways to reduce the problems have been proposed. The dynamic simulations are performed by PSCAD simulation software
