Abstract: In this study, the alignment degree of electrospun fiber was improved by exerting a simple modification over the spinneret of the rotating-jet electrospinning method. For this purpose, a layer of plastique insulation was applied to the spinneret of the rotating-jet electrospinning method. SO, the effective length of the spinneret which controls the strength of the electrostatic field was changed. To evaluate the effectiveness of this modification, the results obtained for various spinneret effectivelengths at different voltages were compared with published data. It was revealed that as theeffective length of the spinneret is reduced from 3.2 cm to 0.5 cm, the alignment degree is increased more than three times.
