Abstract: Lack of understanding of the dynamic behavior of drillstring is the major factor in drillstring failure and wells destruction that will impose financial losses and a lot of time on the project. Commercial software devoted to the drillstring to the string's natural frequencies is calculated and can not provide dynamic analysis. Therefore, in this research, with the help of ADAMS software modeling to analyze the drillstring's dynamic behavior, first, the design of a drillstring in the Solidworks software is being implemented, then the designed model is imported into ADAMS software, in this phase we consider important parameters and their influences. Comparisons are made whenever possible with recorded results available in the literature. And analysis has shown the validity of the proposed model.
