Abstract: The major advantages of the membrane absorption are the larger interfacial area, a better devicemodularity and more operational flexibility. The paper examines the factors that influence the efficiency and performance of the absorption process using a hollow fiber membrane contactor (HFMC) and membrane gas absorption (MGA), as well as evaluation. Prior to the experiments, the mass transfer properties of the system with respect to the effect of various operating conditions, membrane morphology, … have been analyzed and compared with other cases.
