Abstract: The demand for lightweight concrete is increasing because of economical and practical consideration. The lightweight aggregate has been the subject of intense research in recent years. Decreasing the dead load of the structure leads to a decrease in earthquake forces on buildings. Even with the lightweight aggregate in researches, but their combination, their effects on each other in combination and their mechanical behavior have not been sufficiently investigated yet. The main objective of these studies is to provide more data on the effects of Pumice, Perlite and Diatomite on each other and the compressive strength of concrete whit having Silica as a coarse aggregate. Test results showed that Pumice has more effect on increasing compressive strength and has shown that Diatomite with Perlite has a better ability to reduce density leading to lighter concretes. Superplasticizer is also added to mix design to reduce the amount of water needed in mixtures.
