Abstract: In this study, the factor influencing the in vitro flowering was as follows: the major factor was the size of the explants according to the style, the second being the culture condition containing the temperature and light, the third being the growth regulator. Style incised from 55-70 mm long flowering buds with light blue perianths as explants cultured on media regulated with 26.8 μM 1-naphthaleneacetic acid and 31.1 μM 6-benzylaminopurine in the dark at 20 was optimal for in vitro flowering induced, induction ratio was 37.5-40.0%. As for growth regulator only, the higher 6-BA / NAA in the dark at 20 was beneficial for in vitro flowering induced.

Abstract: Microgrid (MG) is a low-voltage or medium-voltage distribution network, comprising various Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) such as distributed generations (DGs), energy storage (ES) devices, and controlled loads operated in either grid Connected or islanded mode. In this paper, the optimal operation of an MG considering different types of DGs such as wind turbines, photovoltaics, fuel cells, micro turbines, and batteries is formulated as a constrained optimization problem. The objective function of the model is to minimize total daily operating costs. Since the proposed model is a mixture of real and binary decision variables, a binary version of the Harmony Search Algorithm (HSA) along with the original real coded HSA is used to solve a typical LV microgrid operation problem.

Abstract: In contrast to traditional extraction methods, aqueous enzymatic extraction of oil from oilseeds is a recent clean technology. This paper reports on the production of soybean oil by aqueous enzymatic extraction method. In the present work, the effect of enzyme concentration, extraction time, dilution ratio, particle size and 3 interactions in final yield is evaluated and the process parameters are optimized using the taguchi method.48 The experiments of extraction carried through and the statistical analysis showed that the particulate size was the most significant variable on oil extraction. Soybean oil was extracted under optimized aqueous extraction condition using 3 enzymes; dilution: 7: 1, agition rate: 220rpm, size: 355mic, time of enzymatic operation 1 and 12 hr. The maximum oil extraction yield at optimal condition was 61.42%.

Abstract: An extended form of gamma distribution is proposed which has two shape parameters (c and u). The introduction of another shape parameter m helps to express the extended gamma distribution not only as a precise form of a mixture of distributions, but also provides extra flexibility to the density function over a positive range. In the Bayesian setting, extended gamma type distribution is used as a conjugate for the uncertain parameter y for the poisson distribution. In this paper, we consider an extension of gamma distributions, namely a mixture of gamma distributions as a conjugate before, which gives a nice form of posterior distribution than the gamma pre distributions. With the help of a simulation data set, the utility of the gamma type distribution is illustrated using the Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC).

Abstract: In this paper, the seismic performance of steel bundled tub structures subjected to near-field records by directivity effect is investigated. IDA (Incremental Dynamic Analysis), which is a powerful and step-by-step method, is used. By limiting the intensity of records in the range of very high seismic region of Iranian Seismic code 2800 as the site of near-field records, the IDA procedure is summarized and acceptable responses are obtained. This procedure confirms the good seismic performance of bundled tub structures as high-rise buildings.

Abstract: In this paper, we develop a single period supply contract model between a manufacturer and its major component supplier. We have studied how a manufacturer who is trying to reach customer oriented production systems should design a supply contract. A practical motivation for our paper comes from industries with innovative products. A coordinating contract based on the option mechanism with two parameters (o, e) is used as supply contract. an option price (o) is paid by the manufacturer for each additional unit of product reserved beyond the original order. a exercise price serves as a unit purchase price when the manufacturer sets the second order if the realized demand is more than the initial order.
Necessary conditions for coordination in this environment are obtained. Our analysis shows that the manufacturer's optimal decisions can be the way that these conditions are met. Both the manufacturer and the supplier both can achieve win-win conditions and improve their expected profits in comparison with expected profit before opt-in contract.
